Do You Have a Diet Mentality?

Are you in a diet mentality?

If you are experiencing deprivation in your current approach to weight loss then chances are you are in a diet mentality. If your current approach to weight loss is to restrict yourself or use words such as I can't eat that or that is restricted then you are in a diet mentality. Imagine experiencing losing weight without the stresses of dieting. Imagine dropping body fat eating foods like burgers, chocolate, Mexican food. Impossible you might say? Not so. We'll look at the signs of a diet mentality thinker and take an approach toward weight loss where you don't stress out, where you don't worry, where you don't sabotage yourself.

Current dieting

Dieters today are concerned with keeping calories down and focus on deprivation. When you are worried about dropping body fat to the point where you are not enjoying the process then you are in a diet mentality.

The 3 D's to diets

The first D of dieting is deprivation. When you set your mindset up for deprivation it is only a matter of time before you stress about missing out on foods that a dieter would eliminate from their diet. When stress takes place then you worry about sabotaging your efforts. The second D of dieting is disappointment. After the deprivation, stress, and worry the next eventual step is disappointment. Chances are that all dieters have been derailed from their diet and have eaten forbidden foods. When that takes place, disappointment sets in. This then leads to the third D which is depression. After the deprivation, disappointment depression soon follows. A dieter gets depressed because their diet has set them up for failure. Hope has been lost and their goals to drop weight and keeping it off have been compromised. Depression sets in and the cycle is repeated.

Living diet free

Living diet free means dropping body fat and keeping it off for good while not experiencing the deprivation, disappointment, and depression of dieting. It means not stressing out and worrying about gaining weight. It means enjoying the process of dropping body fat instead of loathing it or hating to do those steps required to drop body fat. Does it sound too good to be true? Not at all.

You need C.A.P. to drop body fat

C = choice: you have to accept that you have a choice every moment of your life. This lesson was taught to me by my mentor Robert Ferguson. By acknowledging that you have a choice you keep your power. It means you don't sabotage or collapse. It means that you maintain and improve and move closer and closer to living diet free.

A = acceptance: you have to accept that there are principles that if broken or compromised will result in undesirable results. For example, if you drink heavily (especially late night) you will gain body fat if not addressed or taken care of. If you eat the foods that cause body fat on a regular basis (and alcohol is one of them) then you will gain body fat. You have to accept the consequences when you do anything that jeopardizes your goals.

P = perception: self perception is one of the most powerful tools that you have to employ in your arsenal to destroy dieting. Your perception of yourself has to match your goals. In other words, if you don't see yourself being lean, diet free then you won't be. How many people have you met who have lost weight only to gain it back? Most of us. The secret to permanent weight loss is seeing yourself not ever being overweight again. Your self-image has to match the goals you want to achieve. It's that simple. However, it's only one tool of many to employ to live diet free.

There are several steps to living diet free. These are only a few that I have mentioned. The goal is to destroy the diet mentality way of thinking so that you don't experience loss of self which leads to self sabotage. When self sabotage takes place then relapse takes place. Meaning, you will gain the weight back. Take my word for it. I use to be overweight and at one point use to have an eating disorder. I experienced those feelings of depression, loneliness, guilt, failure and sabotage.

К концу года цена на жилье в городах-спутниках может снизиться еще на 25%

Квартиры на вторичном рынке пригорода столицы упали в цене на 35-120%, но даже на дешевое жилье нет спроса. К концу года цена на жилье в городах-спутниках может снизиться еще на 25%, пишет «Дело».

Самое большое падение зафиксировано на рынке недвижимости Борисполя: за самую дешевую однокомнатную квартиру просили в декабре 50-60 тыс. долларов, теперь такое жилье можно купить за 23-25 тыс.

Аналитики объясняют такое снижение цен негативной экономической ситуацией в городе: основные предприятия, на которых было занято население, массово сокращают персонал. А киевляне предпочитают покупать жилье в Киеве, так как цены в Киеве незначительно выше.

Существенно подешевело жилье на вторичном рынке недвижимости Вишневого: однокомнатные квартиры упали в цене на 40-50%. Если в декабре за самую дешевую гостинку предлагали за 70 тыс. долларов, то теперь ее стоимость составляет 40-50 тыс. Причина аналогичная – основными покупателями жилья в Вишневом были киевляне, которым теперь невыгодно покупать здесь жилье из-за незначительной разницы в цене с Киевом.

Сильно упали цены также в соседней Боярке - здесь можно купить гостинку за 30 тыс. долларов, а однокомнатная квартира обойдется в 40 тыс. долларов. В Выжгороде однокомнатные квартиры предлагают за 29-34 тыс. долларов, в Ирпене – за 35 тыс. Еще дешевле стоят однокомнатные гостинки в Вышгороде – 23-25 тыс.

Вместе с тем, самое низкое падение цен на рынке недвижимости зафиксировано в Броварах. Однокомнатная квартира в построенных, но еще не введенных в эксплуатацию домах в декабре стояла здесь около 65 тыс. долларов. Теперь такую единичку можно купить за 35-40 тыс.

Вместе с тем, однокомнатная квартира в престижном районе не на много подешевела по сравнению с прошлым годом и стоит 70-80 тыс. долларов. Некоторое оживление на рынке недвижимости Броваров объясняется относительно стабильной экономической ситуаций в городе – уволенных здесь меньше, чем в других городах-спутниках.

Что касается дальнейшего развития ситуации на рынке недвижимости, эксперты считают, что цены на жилье будут продолжать падать, просев до конца года еще на 10-25%. А если гривна продолжитобесцениваться, спрос будет падать, а вместе с ним и цены.

Is There A Secret To Losing Weight?

You have tried to lose that weight. At the best you dropped twenty pounds but put back twenty two in the last year. Yet you see these testimonies and advertisements of individuals who dropped 80 pounds in twelve months and they still look stunning two years later. It makes you wonder if there is a secret that you are not aware of.

Take Janet Jackson, the sister to the formerly famous Michael Jackson. She is said to have lost sixty pounds in just four months. Whether that is true or not is not the issue, what is the issue is that there was a time Janet was fat and shortly after she wasn't. Infact she graced the cover of the US magazine a chiseled six pack. Doesn't it make you wonder what do these people know that you don't?

Losing weight involves some techniques, tactics and some common sense. As to whether these techniques and tactics are secret depends on what you know. But for common sense we know what they say about them, that they are not so common.

Losing weight principally targets a lifestyle change. The ultimate goal of trying to lose weight is to achieve a weight that you want to live with for the rest of your life. Anything short of this will be running on a treadmill- You will keep yo-yoing.

This should then be followed by an articulate well informed plan on how to achieve and maintain that lifestyle. Knowledge is power, planning without proper knowledge is futile.

This is probably the primary reason for failure in weight-loss for most individuals. You pick the next fed diet that has some pie in the sky promises and work it. You are not well informed of what are the realistic possibilities for you. And this can be quite complex because what works wonders for one may do zilch for you.

Thirdly you need commitment. Trying to lose weight in the middle of a divorce for most people is a kin to trying to hit two birds with one stone only this time one bird is to your east and the other to your west. Commitment requires that one thing be your primary focus. If you are having money problems first solve that then work on your weight. Losing weight especially if you are medically overweight is a challenge. It requires attention, full attention otherwise you will easily miss your goals.

And nothing helps your attention and focus like good planning. A weight loss plan is usually inseparable from a weight loss endeavor. The plan is a road map from where you are at right now to your desired lifestyle. The plan should be broken into two parts to include the long term, medium and short term goals. The plan should entail what you do daily, weekly, monthly so that you can achieve results

Then when you start working on your plan you need to track. You need to know when you have hit your target; you need to know when you have not. This helps you know when you are doing something right and when you are doing something wrong.

I doubt that these five things and others like consistency, flexibility do sound like secrets but they are what many that have lost weight for good have and are using to achieve their success.

The Importance of Water in a Healthy Weight Loss Program

To achieve healthy weight loss and function properly, our bodies must be well hydrated. In total, better than 70% of our cells, tissues, and organs are made up of water. Our most important organ, the brain, is made up of over 85% water. Water is, in fact, the regulator of all functions of the human body and is the core of any healthy weight loss program.

In his book The Laws of Life and Health, Alexander Bryce, MD makes the following statement: "There is no fluid known to chemists which can dissolve as many solid substances as water, which is indeed the best solvent in existence.
